Mayor Thomas M. Menino announces that the PILOT (Payment in Lieu of Taxes) contributions for the first half of fiscal 2012 have been completed according to the new PILOT guidelines, and that the city has received $9.4 million, a 24 percent increase over what would have been paid under the prior PILOT program.
